Some of Their Stories,
One of the very First Rescues to Grab my and Wendys Hearts Was Manni
A Weimaraner Close to Death,
We were asked by the WC of GB to Help Save this Young Dog, We Named Him Manni, German for Strong Man, His Battle back to Health was long and drawn.
Many long Nights were spent by His side!
as He came to realised He was in a Safe PLace His Fight back began.
Many visits to Our Vet Barry @ Vets4Pets removed a lot of his battle scars and Slowly we could see the sparkle return to His Eyes.
Manni Now Has a Loving Home and still visits with Us, when He enters our Home He does so Bouncing and very vocal.
"He Will always have a Special Place in Our Hearts"
A Cocker with 3 Paws.
This is Alfie, Some of You may remember this Little Lad, He was given to us as His Owner was moving on.
One of Our Great Volunteers looked after Alfie while Wendy and i took a short Break,
on Our Return We received a phone call and i knew straight away that the Young Daughter had Fallen for Alfie.
She and Her Dad are training Alfie to run in our U-14 scurry comp at Shanes Castle in 2015.
He got under my skin
This is My Rock who fell in love with the petit Zoe.
This Lad came to Us and will never leave, another lad that had just given up, He was never looked at yet had so much to give, left in a pen most of the time, My Reward is his Loyalty and his willingness to work.
Not Every Rescue is straight forward, From time to time we come across those that have had their will destroyed, our part is not to aportion Blame,
but to regain its trust and move on to provide it with a life.
